Dartington Crystal created Special Reserve as the ultimate glass choice for the appreciation of fine wine. Fashioned from the finest lead crystal using the unique hand making dexterity of English craftsmen, every piece has been designed and made to deliver the best tasting experience.
Each distinctive style of glass has a generously sized bowl that has been carefully proportioned and shaped to enhance the wine’s aromas and flavours. The elegant stem has been pulled from the same crystal piece to give a luxurious weight and form that both looks and feels perfectly balanced.

The magnificent wines of Burgundy are seen as the benchmark for Pinot Noir viticulture and this glass ensures that the subtle characteristics of the temperamental vine are fully appreciated wherever it has been grown.
The ample round bowl and narrower lip ensure that the delicate aromas are captured in the nose, while its shape ensures that the wine’s acidity is tempered with lush fruit flavours. Similarly the high acidity and heavy tannins from the Nebbiolo grapes used in Italy’s Piedmont reds make this shape the perfect choice for Barolo and Barbaresco.
