The appellation of Givry surrounds the small town from which it takes its name. Our winemaker, Jean-Paul Ragot, has a deserved reputation for the consistency and quality of his wine. Red wine predominates in this area, so the fact that Domaine Ragot offers both a red and a white is something of a rarity – indeed, 3D Partners drink about 5% of all white Givry! Both the red and the white have great finesse – a treat for Burgundy-lovers – whilst the Premier Cru comes from the vineyard La Grande Berge where hand-picked grapes from low-yielding Pinot Noir vines produce a well-balanced wine with classic Pinot Noir vegetal notes, a depth of fruit and hints of spice, oak and toastiness.
