Domaine Gruss Vineyard

Situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Eguisheim, our winemaker, André Gruss, makes two exclusive wines for us, which regularly win awards including a spectacular Gold Medal at the 2006 International Wine Challenge. Both wines are made from tiny individual plots, next to the Grand Cru Eichberg and Grand Cru Pfersigberg, from which they share many characteristics – except price!

Winning a spectacular Gold Medal at the 2006 International Wine Challenge, the Baurs make a range of wines following biodynamic winemaking principles from the numerous varieties of grape grown in Alsace, and we’ve picked our three favourites. All three are very different, all three are delicious, and all three are excellent, both as aperitifs and with food. Véronique owns a delightful small hotel in the centre of Turkheim overlooking the courtyard of the domaine.
