An old alchemists’ proverb sys that ’sweet can only be derived from bitter’. This elegant glass is aimed at achieving a harmonious blend of sweetness and bitterness, thus enhancing the paradoxical pleasures of these digestives. When dringking bitters or root and herb-based spirits the glass should only be one-third filled, since this will allow the bouquet of such drinks to be fully appreciated. Herb and root spirits vary in alcoholic strength, but most have a bitter taste and also possess certain healing qualities.

Suitable for: Bitters, Digestifs, Fernet and Underberg/Bitters.
