Riedel Crystal presents the ’Jahrtausendglas’
Riedel Crystal takes this unique opportunity to present a series of six individual Champagne glasses, of which the first was presented in the Autumn of 1997.
To underline the uniqueness of this series, all glasses feature the year as a decorative unmistakeable feature incorporated in the stem.
The ’Jahrtausendglas’ series will be expanded until 2003 by adding a newly designed Champagne glass each year. Each glass will be on its own, completely different in shape, size and expression, and all of them will carry, in crystal, the vintage as a dominant design element. The individual bowls will maximise the pleasures of Champagne and the etched point on the bottom of the glass guarantees a steady stream of fine bubbles.
Moulds of each edition will be destroyed the year after. The ’Jahrtausendglas’ is executed machine blown, in Riedel’s world wide finest lead crystal quality.
The ’Jahrtausendglas’ is an attractive, exclusive gift for every occasion, dedicated to the year. Not only to be used for every occasion dedicated to the year, but also for birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. The ’Jahrtausenglas’ will become a collectors item, commemorating the very special occasion in which it was presented. The limitation of production will ensure the collectors value.
