Wineware’s Spiegelau collection includes the following ranges, Authentis, Authentis Casual, Beverley Hills, Classic Bar, Expert Tasting Glasses, Glatt, Soiree, Vino Grande, Vino Vino and the Willsberger Collection.
In 2004, Spiegelau was purchased by Georg Riedel, the owner of Riedel Glass Works, and is now part of the Riedel/Nachtmann/Spiegelau Group. Spiegelau’s unrelenting commitment to excellence combined with its ability to innovate and still remain accessible has allowed the company to endure and prosper where so many other glass manufacturers have melted away like so much molten glass. Spiegelau combines over five centuries of hand craftsmanship and innovation with the most advanced modern glass making technologies to produce superb glasses that are ideally suited for today’s wine lovers. In addition, Spiegelau also preserves the age craft of hand blown glass. By working closely with sommeliers, chefs and consumers, Spiegelau has truly personalized the wine experience, creating a sturdy-yet-fine wine glass for every taste and need.
The first documented reference to Spiegelau glassworks dates back to just one generation after the discovery of America. Since its first mention in 1521, the small mouthblown producer in the village of Spiegelau nestled in the Bavarian Forest has gone on to become one of the major crystal production companies, exporting all over the World.
Today Spiegelau has secured its place as a leading purveyor of wine glasses for industry professionals.
