The Tulipe aerator is essential for aerating young red wines. Its twin spout distributes the wine around the decanting walls.
A wine can be considered to be young for the first 2-3 years after bottling. It is then ’hibernating’. It must be awakened before serving if it is to reveal its full personality. The aerator disperses the wine freely over a wide area of the decanter walls, accelerating oxygenation to ensure better release of aromas.
