Every one of us has been in this position. The dinner party is over. The front door has just closed on the final guests to depart. The initial part of cleaning up before retiring really does need to be started so what is left is not too much of a chore first thing in the morning when you really do not feel like it at all. You come across a bottle of opened wine that is at least half full (or half empty depending on your way of thought). What is the best thing to do? Surely you can’t just pour it down the sink! Well, most people will and have done in the past. Do you attempt to push the cork (or one of those cheap plastic stoppers) half way in and leave it in the fridge for a couple of days? Well you can, but we all know that it won’t taste or smell like it did the first time you uncorked the bottle.
Now, with the introduction of Wineware’s latest product, the SoWine – Serving and Wine Preservation System, there is no longer any need to worry or to wonder what to do. The SoWine system can keep one or two opened bottles of wine fresh for up to 10 days after opening simply by extracting the air from the portion of the bottles already emptied. The remaining wine, both red and white, can be kept at their respective different serving temperatures, in premium condition, so that when you are ready to indulge again, you can, without any deterioration from its original serving state! There are no gases used in the system so therefore there are no costly accessories to buy once you’ve already purchased this exciting innovation.
The dimensions of the Wine Preserving System measure 422 mm x 248 mm x 255 mm (H x W x D) so whether you are looking to store it out of sight in a cupboard or to display it on a kitchen work top, it is compact enough to easily fit into both situations.

Berlin born, professional sommelier, Peter Steger, has designed and developed a true innovation – a single shaped wine tasting glass that is fitting for all types of both red and white wines. The single shaped professional tasting glass is available in two sizes, the larger one primarily for reds and the smaller version for whites. The elegantly titled ‘One For All’ wine glass is exactly so.
Peter recently visited Wineware to present us his One For All Wine Glasses and left us in no doubt that the concept truly works and we are now honoured to be able to offer this truly exceptional wine tasting tool to our customers.
With this glass the impossible has become possible. One for All is a unique professional wine glass for the perfect presentation of all types of wine. The glass, designed to perfection over many years, is able to bring out the wine’s aroma to its fullest, no matter what type of vine.
The glasses are manufactured in Germany of Lead Free Crystal and are specially heat-treated for maximum strength and clarity. Large surface exposure of the wine in the bowl will concentrate aromas at the mouth giving what is now known as the ‘chimney effect.’

Wineware have recently taken on a new partnership in the Wine Glass industry with well-known and established manufacturing firm, Dartington Crystal. Today, Dartington Crystal are the only remaining major UK Crystal and Glass manufacture offering their products to an international market.
We have taken on two different ranges, one named ‘Wine Master’ that are designed to enhance your enjoyment and understanding of Wine through various different shaped glasses. The Wine Master range consists of both Bordeaux and Burgundy shaped glasses, so lovers of each of these wines should give these a go. Also available is an elegantly shaped Champagne Flute that can also be used for Sparkling Wines. A normal all-purpose White Wine glass works well with Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling wines. A superb glass tops off the Wine Master Range for beginners; the Chef’s Taster glass allows you to learn about the difference between one wine and another.
The second and more expensive range is the ‘Special Reserve’. The glasses include once again, a Bordeaux and Burgundy shaped glass along with a Vintage Champagne that can be used for Sparkling Wine too. A Shiraz / Rhone wine glass and a Unoaked White Wine style glass tops off the Dartington Crystal range.
