The lights were shining brightly, the cameras rolling and we were filled with excitement. Wineware experienced the world of television and stardom…! If you managed to catch ITV’s The Alan Titchmarsh Show last week (Thursday 21st March 2013) you might have noticed some very exquisite and high quality wine corkscrews were being tried and tested. They just so happened to be some of ours!
“Men’s drinking goes down after marriage, whilst women’s increases, I wonder why?” Exclaims Alan very wittingly.
The wine tasting panel consisted of Alan Titchmarsh, Coleen Nolan, Birds of a Feathers’ stars Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, and ‘talking wines’ Atomic Kitten’s Liz McLarnon. The panel enjoyed a variety of wines, opened by these three corkscrews: Wineware Waiter’s Friend Double Lever Corkscrew, The Butler’s Thief Cork Extractor and Le Creuset Lever Model Corkscrew LM-250 – Black. Do you own one of these corkscrew stars? Their celebrity status is becoming unprecedented these days.

Wineware Waiter’s Friend Double Lever Corkscrew

The panel loved this corkscrew and its affordable price. Alan praised the corkscrew, “It is beautifully made” whilst Liz revealed she had one of these at home, thanks to its useful double lever.

The Butler’s Thief Cork Extractor

Alan did try and give the extracting job to Coleen Nolan but he decided to give it a go! This did create a humorous scene, spilling most of the wine contents over Coleen Nolan. Needless to say he got the cork out in the end.

Le Creuset Lever Model Corkscrew LM-250 – Black

Alan and Coleen removed the wine’s cork easily with the Le Creuset corkscrew. It gained a well-deserved audience applaud and cheer. “Worth every penny” according to Coleen!
