Eisch Glas

(18 products)

The Eisch family has been involved in glasswork since the 17th century. Valentin Eisch, the founder of Eisch Glas, worked as a master engraver at the Crystal factory of Kommerzienrats Isidore Gistl. In 1946, he founded his own refining company alongside his wife to set up a business for his six children. By 1952, they had built their own glass-melting furnace.

With its roots in Bavaria, this family-run company stood firm against the tide of competition, a testament to their resilience and determination. Eisch Glas, which began as one of the smallest glassworks in the region, steadily expanded and increased production over time. Descendant Erwin Eisch, hailed as the leading pioneer and spiritual father of the European studio glass movement, is a shining example of the family's perseverance.

Since 1995, German retailers have voted Eisch Glas twelve times as the number one glass producer. Eisch glassware is highly valued and praised for its new and innovative techniques. The Eisch glass factory is still family-owned and managed by the third generation.

Wineware offers a good selection of Eisch Glas products, including wine and water decanters, wine decanter cleaning beads, wine glasses and champagne glasses.
