This decanter is hand-crafted and manufactured in Bavaria, Germany, by Eisch Glas.

This uniquely designed decanter from Eisch Glas will sit elegantly on your dinner table and prevent dreaded red wine stains on your tablecloth thanks to the special NO DROP EFFECT treatment on the rim of the decanter. Although it almost completely prevents the formation of drops running down the side of the decanter, the helpful 'hole' in the decanter bowl means it's easy to hold and use when pouring.

Young red wines must be in contact with atmospheric oxygen to develop their optimum bouquet. Therefore, such wines are usually opened some hours before they are drunk and left standing in the decanting carafe to allow optimum development of the bouquet.

This decanter has an overall capacity larger than 750ml; however, it's designed to take a standard 750ml bottle so that the wine will be at the widest point of the bowl.
