Rioja Wine Glasses

Share

Rioja is a popular wine region based in northern Spain which is divided into 3 areas: Alavesa, Alta, and Baja. All of which benefit from a continental climate and produce different styles of Rioja. This vast area has over 150 wineries, mainly producing Rioja using the full bodied Tempranillo grape variety which is native to Spain and Iberia. A typically shaped Rioja glass has a wide, long bowl which narrows at the opening, this traps the aromas within the glass.
