Nachtmann

Michael Nachtmann founded company, F.X. Nachtmann in 1834. The family run company has been passed through generations. In 1990 the Nachtmann group acquired the traditional crystal factory Spiegelau.

By 1995 F.X. Nachtmann Crystal AG took over Rosenthal AG’s shares in the Amberg crystal glass factory. Nachtmann has held a capital share of around 90% since mid (July) 1997. The company was recognised as a company with an extensive environmental protection program in 2001. This is in accordance with DIN ISO 14001.

On September 17^th 2004 Riedel Glas took over 100% of the shares of Nachtmann Glass AG. Nachtmann Glass offer both modern and classic designs from elegant siverline charger plates to old fashioned whisky glasses.
