Laguiole en Aubrac

29 Products

Laguiole en Aubrac began in 1829. The first Laguiole knives were inspired by Arabic-Spanish farmer’s knives and were created in a small mountain village in the Aveyron in south-western France. The first Laguiole knives had handles made of bone or horn, and these materials are still selected today.

The bee decorating the spring plate would eventually become the prestigious symbol of France’s most celebrated knives and corkscrews. All Laguiole en Aubrac corkscrews and champagne sabres are still handmade and crafted in France's Laguiole area. Each is entirely assembled from start to finish by one single craftsman. These products, therefore, boast expert craft and tremendous care, effort and attention to detail.

Wineware is extremely proud to include these wonderful, handcrafted corkscrews from Laguiole en Aubrac.

Please note that if you require any other products from this manufacturer that are not listed, please feel free to contact us.
