Aroma Academy

Aroma Academy is jointly owned by Dr George Dodd and Alan Gordon. Both have expert knowledge in the aroma business and are highly-qualified. Alan Gordon is responsible for the majority of all business and general management activities.

Dr George Dodd has a PhD from the University of Oxford, extensive aroma science knowledge and experience; both academic and in the industry and is also a professional master perfumer.

He has worked on numerous perfumes and smells projects and was a founding director of the world’s very first smell biotechnology company, called Kiotech int plc. Dr George Dodd continues working alongside The University of Warwick smell research group. They are currently developing a special aroma lab which has extremely sensitive and advanced equipment for analysing individual smells.

His aroma training kits began as a simple training kit for students and over the years he developed them. He has made smelling kits available for numerous bodies including, the Royal National Institute for The Blind.

Aroma Academy is extremely passionate about the science involved in the aroma kits, while still creating a fun and enjoyable learning experience.
