Fortified Wine Glasses

The definition of a ’fortified wine’ is a wine where additional alcohol has been added; Wines were originally fortified to help preserve them longer, but as more consumers grew to love the flavours of sherry, port, muscat and Madeira, these were soon produced for taste rather than preservation.
